Finance is the system of generating funds or money capital for any business venture or any expenditure. This also includes large dealings of public and private funds. The system of finance would also take account of the channelling of funds from investors to users. These are usually processed thru form of credit, invested capitals or loans thru commercial banks, saving and loan associations, investment firms and credit unions. Finance is subdivided into three components: personal finance, public finance and business finance. The three components all accomplish processes that will result an optimal advantage in the business’ gross and profit.

On the other hand, investment is using money to create more money. This method is usually done by putting money in an investment firm that will generate more money in due course. In layman’s view, it is like purchasing a product that is not usable as of the moment but is designed to be used in the future. In the financial course, it is like spending a monetary asset that will potentially generate a larger amount in the future.
