Calendars

An economics calendar simply lists the important dates such as important events and upcoming economic or financial announcements in a chronological sequence. This calendar makes it easy to track down and keep track of important financial news or data. An example is a calendar that lists the upcoming dates of Treasury bill auctions which is a closely watched activity by economists because results determine to a large extent the interest rate. Market data such as announcements concerning profit results of big firms are also watched closely since a favourable financial result can push up its stock price. A calendar is simply an efficiency tool or aid to make things organized and not inadvertently forgetting something important.
